Sharing Ministries Food Bank is a faith-based, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that distributes supplemental food at no cost to families in need and smaller nonprofit organizations throughout Montrose, Delta, Ouray, San Miguel and Gunnison counties.

We are committed to sourcing the freshest food possible from local farmers, stores and businesses. In 2017, Sharing Ministries distributed over 900,000 pounds of food through 63,000 client visits. In addition to our own supplemental food program, we distribute The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP for seniors 60+).

Sharing Ministries Food Bank receives no federal funding. All funding is provided through generous donors, and we welcome all food donations, volunteers and monetary gifts. Planned giving is also encouraged.

Sharing Ministries also operates The Green Cupboard located on Main Street in Montrose. The Green Cupboard is a chic women’s boutique that offers a unique shopping experience for all ages. New jewelry, scarfs, handbags and gifts are added weekly. One hundred percent of all proceeds from the store benefit Sharing Ministries Food Bank.
