Senior Day at the Fair was a great success. Hundreds of seniors turned out in 100-degree heat for their chance to win $1,000 playing BEACON Bingo, which was called by the Grand Junction Senior Recreation Center and sponsored by ADRC and Hilltop Senior Living Communities. Many walked away winners, including two lucky ladies who each won $250.

Arts and crafts projects abounded and participants were serenaded by several local music acts. Some came to the fair by bus, while others brought their grandkids and took photos with the Lipizzaner stallions.
