October 20 - KAFM Zombie Prom

Come dressed as a zombie or another spooky creature, but dress to impress, as the best zombie, best couple, scariest costume, most creative and best group will win prizes, and a king and queen will be crowned. This event is for adults only, and starts at 8 p.m. at Mesa Theater. Admission is $13.

October 26 - Palisade Trick or Treat Street & Harvest Fest

Dress in costume and head to downtown Palisade for a free Trick-or-Treat Street from 3-5 p.m. The grandkids will love seeing the large rigs, utility vehicles and other fun trucks. Then head to Riverbend Park from 4-8:30 p.m. for Harvest Fest, featuring a bonfire, vendors, games, pet parade ($3 per dog, $8 per team), jack o’lantern contest, live DJ and the Mario Kart Half-Mile ($5). Parking costs $5 per car at Riverbend Park. For more information, call 464-5602.

October 27 - Boo N’ Brew

The Boo N’ Brew festival features live music from the Williams Brothers Band, pumpkin painting, hayrides and plenty of brews for adults. The event happens from noon to 2 p.m. in the Mesa Mall parking lot in front of Chuck E. Cheese. For more information, call 242-0009.

October 27 - Downtown Spooktacular

Spooktacular, Downtown Grand Junction’s trick-or-treating event, is from 3-5 p.m. on Main Street. For more information, call 245-9697.

October 31 – Fruita Trick-or-Treat Street

Join Fruita businesses downtown for Trick or Treat Street from 3-5 p.m. This event is free. For details, call 858-3894.

October 31 - Trick-or-Treat Street at Mesa Mall

Come dressed in your Halloween best and go door to door to Mesa Mall retailers for exciting Halloween treats and prizes! Event is free and takes place from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

October 31 - Trick or Treat at Dinosaur Journey

What better monsters to trick or treat with than the dinosaurs at Dinosaur Journey? Bring your grandchildren to tour the dinosaur exhibits after hours and collect candy on the way out. This event is from 4-7 p.m.
