Volunteers are needed to deliver meals to seniors from Mack to Collbran on Christmas Eve. Delivery volunteers will be able to choose participants by zip code, gather meals, and start their deliveries. Meals will be delivered from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. This program began in 2008 when Comfort Keepers Owner Ora Lee recognized the local meal programs and dining sites didn’t operate on Christmas Eve, leaving many seniors without a hot meal and alone. In addition to a hot meal, the program provides companionship to those who are alone. Participants can request the company of a volunteer while they enjoy their delicious hot meal.
