John F. Aragon Sr. turns 93

The Aragon family (and dog Pancho) treated Dad, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa and Great-Great-Grandpa to a surprise birthday potluck and cupcakes on March 8. Although he misses playing the guitar, the retired musician played a little tune on his organ despite severe arthritis. We thank God for letting us enjoy another day with him!

William Floryancic turns 103

William Floryancic celebrated his birthday on March 9 at the Grand Junction VA Medical Center. In addition to being a twice-drafted Army veteran, he was a well-known entrepreneur and held the prestigious title of Palisade Peach Festival’s “Town Grouch” for several years. (Town Grouch is a competition between residents over who can raise the most money.)
