Palisade History Museum now open

Palisade History Museum ribbon cutting

Using a pair of historic peach tree pruning shears, the Palisade Historical Society dedicated Palisade’s first history museum with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in August honoring its major donors and volunteers. Visitors to the new Palisade History Museum can learn about the community’s unique history via exhibits, photos, and artifacts illustrating its peach growing and coal mining past. The History Museum is open to the public 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays. Admission is free, though donations are appreciated.
