Community Concerts next season lineup

Entering its 78th year, Community Concerts of the Grand Valley has announced the acts in its 2022-2023 season. The six-concert lineup features a potpourri of internationally acclaimed musicians, singers, dancers and theater groups live at the Avalon Theatre in downtown Grand Junction. Here’s what’s in store next season:

Divas 3

Thursday, October 13, 2022 • 7:30 p.m.

Divas 3 consists of powerhouse Las Vegas vocalists performing your favorite chart-topping hits. Their three-part harmony arrangements joined by piano and tracks pays tribute to Cher, Dolly Parton, Whitney Houston and more. 

Cherish the Ladies 

Friday, October 28, 2022
7:30 p.m. 

One of America’s most heralded Irish music ensembles, Cherish the Ladies has won the hearts of audiences worldwide with their rousing blend of traditional music, captivating vocals and propulsive step dancing.

The Everly Set

Tuesday, November 15, 2022 • 7:30 p.m.

The Everly Set takes you back to 1957 when Phil and Don Everly first supercharged the vocal sound of rock ’n’ roll with their unique style of harmonies. Lead singers Sean and Jack keep this great music alive with renditions of “Wake Up Little Susie,” “When Will I Be Loved?” and more.

Sail On! 

Sunday, January 15, 2023 • 3 p.m.

Sail On brings a young look and authentic sound reminiscent of the original Beach Boys during the prime of their career. The group’s harmonies capture the sound of the iconic band and transport the audience to the beach for an evening of memories and fun! 

Dan Miller Cowboy Review

Thursday, February 2, 2023 • 7:30 p.m.

Dan Miller’s Cowboy Music Revue celebrates 18 years of playing to audiences around the globe with their unique brand of music, humor, history and poetry.

Beginnings: The Chicago Tribute Band

Tuesday, April 25, 2023
7:30 p.m.

The Beginnings is comprised of eight talented musicians who together comprise an ever-evolving universe of musicality that encompasses multi-instrumentalists and five lead vocalists. This depth of talent is focused on the band Chicago, whose song book spans more than 40 years, and includes five No. 1 albums and 20 Top 10 hits.

New ticket sales start June 14!

Season tickets start at $80. Individual concert tickets (if available) are $35.

Liked your seats? Renew your tickets before May 21.

Want better seats? You have from May 24 to June 11 to change them.
