The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is offering monthly fraud and scam prevention classes to help community members recognize common scams, avoid becoming victims and know what to do if targeted.

Each free session features new topics and practical tips shared by sheriff’s office investigators. Classes are held 9-10 a.m. on the last Thursday of each month at 215 Rice St., Grand Junction.
