The Stay Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) Program offers FREE strength and balance classes for older adults in the North Fork Valley. What to Expect:

  • Safe, adaptable exercises for all abilities (seated or standing)
  • One-hour sessions with warm-up, aerobics, balance, strength, stretching and education
  • Supportive, social environment to build confidence and community

Falls are a leading cause of injury among older adults. In the North Fork Valley, over 20% of 911 calls are for people who need help after a fall but aren’t taken to the hospital.

Regular participation in programs like SAIL can lower this risk while also improving sleep, reducing stress and enhancing quality of life.
