Free New-to-Medicare 101 class in Mesa County

Mesa County RSVP – SHIP offers a free New-to-Medicare 101 class on the first Wednesday of each month at 422 White Ave., Suite 090. 

The class runs from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and covers the basics of Medicare Parts A, B, C and D, supplemental plans and cost-saving programs. Knowledgeable SHIP counselors provide guidance and answer questions to help participants make informed decisions. 

For details or to reserve a seat, call 970-243-9839. In addition, SHIP hosts weekly Walk-in Days every Thursday from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the same location. 

Seniors can receive free, unbiased counseling on Medicare options, including plan comparisons and cost-saving programs. No appointment is required.
