The Meeker Classic Sheepdog Championship Trials intertwines sheepdog trials, education, culture and history into a week-long showcase of sportsmanship, volunteerism and friendship.

170 dogs will run in the preliminary runs on September 7, a free day for the public.

The 34th Anniversary is a 5-day Event:

- Dogs, Sheep, Education, Art, History & Culture

- 135 Handler/Dog Teams compete in 3 days of Preliminaries

- 30 of the Top Dogs advance to the Semi-Finals on Saturday

- 12 Dogs Advance to the Finals on Sunday
