The 27th annual Black Canyon Quilt Show, held July 12—14 at the Montrose Pavilion, 1800 Pavilion Dr., Montrose, will showcase more than 100 quilts. Vendors will be selling quilt related items and fabric. The boutique, with hundred's of handmade items for sale, is a good place to get a head start on holiday shopping with items ranging from quilts to place mats and Christmas ornaments. Friday and Saturday, quilt artist Laura Loewen will be connecting classes and presenting a Saturday afternoon lecture and trunk show open to the public at a cost of $15.00.
