The November meeting of the Chinle Cactus & Succulent Society will feature a presentation by vegetation ecologist Stefanie Wacker, who will discuss the National Park Service's approach to plant community restoration. She’ll also cover topics such as securing funding for restoration efforts (how your tax dollars are or are not spent), as well as the future of restoration in wildlands managed by federal agencies. The meeting will be Thursday November 14th from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the Grand Valley Unitarian Universalist church, 536 Ouray, Grand Junction. The doors open at 6:00 and the meeting is free. Guests are welcome.
