Dress up to dance and socialize at a 1980s-1990s-2000s-2010s Fantasy Movie themed event. We'll pay homage to our favorites like Princess Bride, Labyrinth, and have fun recognizing other fantasy movie-inspired costumes. Enjoy 80s music reimagined live by Mixed Bag Jazz, with some straight up radio favorites from the DJ, and a very brief interpretation of the Princess Bride. Raises funds for the Western Colorado Writers Forum, which was created in response to the many writers on the many writers on the Western Slope looking for opportunities to learn, read, publish, and teach. Raises funds & items for the Grand Junction Free Promwear collects and distributes new and used donated formalwear of all types to a community through the annual giveaway event. You can also bring formalwear to donate to the Grand Junction Free Promwear.
