July Writer's Night
Down the Research Trail: All the Treasures You Will Find with Jane Miller
Research! Most writers of all genres have gone down that rabbit hole a time or two. Those interested in family history will find this workshop informative, BUT (and that’s a capital BUT) anyone wanting to write convincing fiction will find that the research techniques discussed enrich their work with depth and color. PLUS, it’s so much fun!
Local author Jane Miller grew up in the Southeast Plains of Colorado. Much of her work draws from this area. While she has resided in the Grand Junction area since 2007 and considers it home, she says the plains will always be in her bones. Her accomplishments include winning the fairy tale contest with Grand Valley Magazine as well as stories published in Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers’ anthologies. In addition to fiction, she has also written and published two family history books.
