• Mesa County RSVP connects individuals 55 and older to volunteer positions in any of our member agencies. For a list of volunteer opportunities and to register, call 243-9839.
• Mesa County Spellbinders is looking for volunteers to learn a few storytelling skills and make a difference in children’s lives. Spellbinders tell stories to students in kindergarten through fifth grade once a month during the school year. To join, call 462-7346.
• Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is seeking Victim’s Advocate volunteers to make a difference by being there for victims of crimes on what could be the worst day their life. No need for prior experience, must pass background check and have valid driver’s license and car. Training is Tuesday and Thursday evenings, September 12- October 19, plus two daytime shifts and field training. Call 244- 3275.
