AARP Foundation ElderWatch has seen a spike in jury duty scams reported across Colorado. Scammers will call and claim that you have failed to report for jury duty and a warrant is out for your arrest. Scammers will then ask for personal information and insist you pay a fine via wire transfer. Remember that U.S. court officials and law enforcement offices will not call you—they typically follow up by mail.
