Fruita’s newest recreation addition is now open: four outdoor pickleball courts located at Orr Park, just east of the Fruita Community Center. The courts were built in response to community feedback gathered through the Parks, Health, Recreation, Open Space and Trails (PHROST) Master Plan, which identified pickleball as one of the most in-demand amenities. The courts are free to use and open to the public—no membership required. Two courts are available for drop-in play while the other two can be reserved in advance.
